Authenticator app troubleshooting - Android

Written September 2022. Microsoft changes these admin screens often, so the screenshots below may not match what you see today. The sequence of steps is usually still correct — if something looks wrong, tell us and we'll update it.
  • 1.                 Go to Setting and then app management. 

2.        App Setting

3.        Search for and click on authenticator

4.        Click on force stop

5.        Next go to storage and cache and clear it.

6.        Go back to desktop and open Play store

7.        Search and open authenticator app.

8.        Open your app in play store, Update it if available

9.        Restart your device and test app
