How to Resize a Virtual Machine in Azure

Written May 2018. Microsoft changes these admin screens often, so the screenshots below may not match what you see today. The sequence of steps is usually still correct — if something looks wrong, tell us and we'll update it.
  • Navigate to portal.azure.com:
  • Click on All services search Virtual machine and click on Virtual machines:
  • Now choose your desired VM which you want to resize:
  • Now Click on Size in left pane:
  • Now Choose desired Size and click on Select Virtual machine will be resized:
